Email Deliverability Specialist

Job Description:

Anchor is one of the most well respected names in the direct marketing industry for over 30 years. Our multiple divisions provide state of the art; Software, Direct marketing database services, account management for marketing projects, and is an E-commerce Information Service Provider.

We are looking to hire an experienced Email Deliverability Specialist to monitor and improve email deliverability for our clients. This position includes monitoring for deliverability with major ISPs, diagnosing deliverability issues with clients, educating prospects, customers and internal teams on permission-based email marketing best practices.

Qualifications include:

5-7 years experience in managing client relationships for a technical products/service a plus. Prior experience with email marketing deliverability. Strong preference toward experience with a leading email service provider, email authentication filtering vendor or major ISP

Requirements:

Education: Bachelors Degree or the equivalent work experience is preferred

Candidates will meet the following basic job elements:

2+ years of email marketing experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of hand-coding HTML, CSS, JavaScript and slicing and implementing existing images in email and web.
Constructing emails to render accurately and test against all clients and browsers.
Success with ISP deliverability challenges and associated techniques for successful inbox delivery.
Solid understanding of email compliant HTML, whitelisting, bounce rates and reason types, CAN-SPAM and other email regulatory compliance and SPAM filter solutions.
Understanding of dynamic-based content and personalization.
Uploading data files to/from multiple systems and environments.
Preparation of email analytics and reporting.
Working in high-volume email delivery environments.
Setting up and managing Feedback Loops.
Proactive in researching and implementing ISP best practices.
Ability and willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
Determine client requirements and prepare proposals and quotations that meet those requirements.
Communicate effectively over the phone as well as in person.
Maintain an on-going relationship with clients, accessing their needs for additional services and products.
Strong attention to detail.
Photoshop experience a plus.
